With over 45 years driving experience in both Car, Heavy Vehicle, and Motorcycle it seemed time to pass on that experience in training people in Driver Safety.
Rosco has an interest in motorsport being a member and regular entrant in the Classic Rally Club of NSW and Historic Rally Club of NSW and ACT and is also an active member of Shoalhaven and Kiama District Auto Club.
He holds a current CAMS competition licence and is a graduate from PFIRDS, International Racing Drivers School.
Drawing on this knowledge he has graduated as a Certified RMS Driving Instructor and holds a Certificate 4 in Transport & Logistics (Road Transport Car Driving Instruction) and a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.
Rosco is also a qualified Defensive Driving Instructor and can tailor any course to suit your or your enterprises needs.

From this passion comes Shoalhaven Driver Training, a training institute with a difference that as well as providing tuition for learners and mature drivers, will be able to offer Defensive and Advanced Driver Training courses Locally with our affiliate 6th Gear Motoring. (Subject to a suitable local site being available)
SDT also exclusively uses dual control Automatic vehicles to enhance the drivers safety and help making the experience memorable.
We are also happy to teach you in your own vehicle ( subject to assessment )
At the end of each lesson the student will receive an emailed review of the lesson/s covered, progress report and review for their records and future practice.
We also tailor lessons for various other needs.
Recovery lessons and review after trauma or post accident to help renew confidence and safe driving.
We specialise in assisting those who have lost their partner who did the majority of driving overcome and concerns and gain the confidence necessary to drive safely.
These local one day small group courses cover a wide range of situations drivers should be prepared for.
These include but are not limited to vehicle checks, basic maintenance, checking and changing tyres safely, effective braking and steering under various conditions. Experience in driving with a deflating or flat tyre under controlled conditions.
